Mental Performance Coaching ยท Athletes

Your body is ready.
Is your mind?

Most athletes train their physical game for hours every week. The mental game gets almost none of that attention โ€” and it's often the reason performance breaks down under pressure.

For athletes of any age, gender, or level โ€” from weekend competitors to seasoned professionals.

No matter your age, gender, or level of skill.

Whether you're a junior rider finding your feet, an amateur athlete who competes for the love of the sport, or a seasoned professional chasing your next level โ€” if you're stuck at a plateau or keep making the same mistakes under pressure, the work is the same.

Mental performance is not a luxury for elite athletes. It's the missing piece for anyone who has put in the physical work and still isn't performing the way they know they can.

"The difference between athletes who perform at their best under pressure and those who don't is rarely physical."

Fear of failure. Loss of focus at the critical moment. Confidence that disappears when it matters most. These are mental skills โ€” and they can be trained, just like any other part of your game.

Six areas that move the needle.

01

Focus & Concentration

Block distractions, refocus after mistakes, and stay present under pressure for the full duration of your performance.

02

Confidence

Build belief that holds even when results aren't coming โ€” and stops depending on external validation to feel good about your game.

03

Pressure & Stress Control

Learn to perform in high-stakes moments instead of shrinking from them. Become the athlete who wants the ball when it matters.

04

Fear of Failure

Identify what's holding you back and replace avoidance with courage. Compete freely instead of playing not to lose.

05

Emotional Control

Recover fast from mistakes, manage frustration in real time, and stop emotional reactions from derailing your performance.

06

The Zone

Understand what brings you into your peak state โ€” and learn how to access it consistently, not just hope it shows up.

Choose your commitment level.

One session won't move the needle โ€” it's a conversation, not a transformation. These packages are designed to create real, lasting change.

I've been on both sides of pressure.

Mental performance coaching has been part of my work throughout my career โ€” working with athletes across disciplines to help them close the gap between how they train and how they perform when it counts.

Alongside that, I spent 15 years as a General Manager and operational leader across MENA and Europe โ€” making high-stakes decisions under pressure, restructuring organizations, and leading turnarounds. The mental game of sport and the mental game of leadership are closer than most people think.

I'm an active polo player. I know what it feels like to be in the saddle when everything goes wrong โ€” and what it takes to get back in the game.

Common questions.

Is this therapy or sports psychology?+
No. Mental Performance Coaching is not therapy and does not deal with clinical or psychological issues. It's practical, forward-focused work on specific mental skills that affect your performance โ€” focus, confidence, pressure management, emotional control. Think of it as training for your mind, the same way you train your body.
How does a session work?+
Sessions are 60 minutes, conducted online via video call โ€” so it doesn't matter where you are in the world. We work on specific mental skills, review what's happening in your performances, and build practical tools you can apply immediately in training and competition. Between sessions, you put the work into practice.
Is everything we discuss confidential?+
Completely. Everything discussed in our sessions stays between us. Nothing is shared with coaches, clubs, parents, or anyone else โ€” unless you explicitly ask me to. Confidentiality is the foundation of this work.
How quickly will I see results?+
Most athletes notice a shift in awareness and clarity within the first two or three sessions. Lasting change โ€” where new mental habits become automatic under pressure โ€” typically takes the full package. That's why a single session isn't offered: one conversation starts a process, it doesn't complete one.
Do I need to be a professional or elite athlete?+
Not at all. This work is for any athlete who is serious about their performance โ€” regardless of age, gender, sport, or level. If you're stuck at a plateau, keep making the same mistakes under pressure, or feel like your mental game is holding your physical game back, this is for you.
Online or in person?+
All sessions are conducted online. This makes it possible to work with athletes anywhere in the world, without travel or scheduling constraints. Video call tools like Zoom or Teams work perfectly for this kind of work.
